About the Artist
Avery McAllister is a certified Makeup Artist and Hairstylist based in Markham, ON. Avery is certified with a diploma from the Makeup for Media and Creative Arts at Sheridan College, graduating with Honours in 2026. She also was the first runner-up for her portfolio amongst her class, winning a prestigious award.
Her love for makeup began as a pre-teen experimenting with beauty looks for friends; even doing prom makeup while still in high school. Though her path first led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honours from Trent University, Avery’s journey ultimately brought her back to her true passion: makeup artistry.
Blending her background in psychology with her creative eye, Avery approaches every client with empathy, attentiveness, and artistry. She believes makeup is more than just a look; it’s a way to help people feel confident, seen, and authentically themselves. With a decade of customer service experience and a natural gift for creating calm, welcoming environments, Avery ensures every client leaves feeling at ease and like their best selves.
